A British hedge fund founder is believed to have paid a New Zealand record price for an apartment, buying a sprawling 930sq m luxury Auckland penthouse for close to $8 million. Perched on the 36th floor of Auckland’s landmark Metropolis Tower, the newly renovated high-spec pad offers 360-degree views of Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf.
